Welcome to the Gospel Fellowship. Our church was started by the Mennonite Brethren Central District. The year was 1948 when Arthur Unrah came to Pine Ridge and built the building you see in this picture. Arthur worked with my mom when she was a little girl. If all of the people came to church we would not have enough seats but we are working on that problem. We are thankful for the Mennonites Brethren as they brought the Gospel to our people. We have had our ups and downs but overall we believe God is still working in the hearts of the Oglala Lakota people. When you come to the Gospel Fellowship you will be a part of a culturally relevant worship service. I say this not that we sing are preach in Lakota but the majority of the people are Lakota and we interact in a culturally relevant way. more later.
